After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 1983, Simon has toured the world extensively writing and performing on the saxophone, clarinet and flute for groups such as The Drifters, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Leo Sayer, The Matthew Herbert Big Band and many more.

He has also toured with shows such as Grease, Fame, Rat Pack, And performed in West End shows such as Priscilla Queen of the Desert and The Ray Charles Tribute Show.

In 2001 he set up his company Nibmusic to concentrate on writing for television and radio, such as The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Wales,
ITV and The Bafta Awards, as well as for cruise ships, production shows in the
West End & on tour, and literally dozens of singers and instrumentalists across the world.
Simon has just recently finished arranging 19 of John Parr’s songs for his Greatest Hits Songbook, soon to be released. He is musical supervisor for “Triqueta” a large scale orchestral project which recently premiered at Guildford Cathedral. Recently he has finished producing, arranging and performing on Phillip Brownes’s debut album CD “The Journey”.
He is currently working with Roger Wright who was 3rd place in the recent “Superstar” TV Show producing and arranging his forthcoming show and CD.
